Usage Note

Install the filter securely on the aquarium wall and position the intake section correctly below the water surface. Fill the filter chamber with aquarium water before switching on the unit to help it begin circulating water smoothly.

Adjust the surface-intake control according to the aquarium’s water level and circulation requirements. Clean the intake opening, filter chamber, activated-carbon plate, and impeller regularly to prevent reduced water flow.

Additional biological or mechanical media may be placed in the available chamber space when compatible with the filter. Rinse reusable biological media gently with removed aquarium water rather than chlorinated tap water to help preserve beneficial bacteria.
